Why kosa8

A sealed machine per agent
Every agent gets a real microVM with its own kernel, not a container sharing the host's kernel. It sees one folder, the workspace, and nothing else on the host.
A closed network
Outbound traffic is refused except to hosts on an allow-list you write.
Keys stay on the host
An egress broker injects API keys on the way out. The sandbox holds only a placeholder: 0 real keys inside it.
An audit log you can check
Every action is written to a hash-chained, tamper-evident log, marked human or agent. kosa8 audit verify checks it.
Human approval for risky actions
Risky actions can wait for one or two named human approvers, the two-person rule.
Runs where the client is
Apple-chip Macs and x86-64 Linux, Windows through WSL2 (preview), air-gapped installs, and FIPS 140-3 builds for government. Releases are signed and notarised.
